B2B Design Services - FAQ

Here's an FAQ about our Design.

What's the deal with pricing? Can you complete work by an hourly rate?

The final quote will depend on the complexity of the design work. This will be taken into account in the original quote, and any further revisions will be completed free of charge until you're happy with the work (provided that the revisions don't completely deviate from the original brief!). Generally speaking, extra or unplanned work is usually charged at an hourly rate of £40.

What are the payment terms?

If we know you or have worked with you before, we will usually be happy to complete work on an invoice basis after work is completed with payment terms of 15 days.

Of course we welcome all new clients, and kindly ask them to make a payment up front once the project has been investigated and a quote has been agreed upon; this is to make sure we are able to commit time to your project so it can be delivered in time.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes. If you are not happy with our work we will refund your money either in part or on full depending on the circumstances. We're totally committed to great service and we believe guaranteeing our work is an essential part of this.

OK. What payment types do you accept?

The easiest way to make a payments are direct bank transfer or PayPal. We can also accept cheque payments. Exact payment details are provided after quotes have been discussed etc.

What is the turnaround time?

We will always provide an estimate of turnaround time when we provide a quote, but aim to complete most work within 3-5 business days. Larger projects will naturally take a bit longer, but we can also expedite certain work if fast delivery is needed.

What about confidentiality?

We guarantee all design work undertaken will be treated in strict confidence. We won't discuss the project with anyone. If you require us to sign an NDA to be able to complete the work we will gladly consider it.

For websites, what browsers do you support?

Our design should look great in pretty much any browser and is primarily tested in IE7+, Firefox 3.5+, Safari 4+ and Chrome. We can also include IE6 support but don't really recommend it as usage is at less than 5% these days.

What markup language can I expect?

As standard we provide markup in XHTML 1.0 Transitional or HTML 4.01, however we can also supply markup in XHTML 1.0 Strict or W3C Valid HTML 5.

Can I call you to discuss?

If you'd like to discuss your project on the phone, please mail us with as much detail as you can about yourself and the project first, and we will gladly call you at a convenient time to discuss the project.

My project is a big deal. Can we meet?

We are very happy to meet in London to discuss larger projects and ongoing business with clients.

What are your working hours?

We never sleep.

What are the company details?

Kikizo Ltd - Registered in England No. 5323148.

I've been given much cheaper quotes from Country X.

That's not a question, but we know where this is going. It's up to you: We design because we're self-taught and love to design, not because it's "just a job". We understand western brands and consumers and know what looks and sounds cool here rather than guessing, we don't finish work hours at midday, and we don't get paid at the end of the month if we don't deliver results. And we can discuss your work face-to-face. Outsourcing abroad works well for some people but there are good reasons why domestic design hasn't gone out of business!
